Laurent & Fanny

Miami, FL

“I moved here six years ago. So we reconnected, and we’re just having fun. It feels good having somebody from back home because I don’t have that many people coming to visit.”

Laurent’s story:

French literature is what I love to bring here from my home country. The best restaurants here in Miami are French. There are a lot of French people in Miami and I’ve been here long enough to know every good place. I can tell you that the French spots really are the best.

Fanny and I actually met in France ten years ago, we used to work together in a supermarket. It’s funny, now she’s in Miami and so she called me a week ago to ask if I was still living here. I moved here six years ago. So we reconnected, and we’re just having fun. It feels good having somebody from back home because I don’t have that many people coming to visit. It’s good to have some French culture and mentality here once in a while.

Fanny’s story:

I’m here for just five weeks for vacation so I came to enjoy it and have fun and embrace the Miami experience.
