June 1, 2023 marks the tenth annual Immigrant Heritage Month – a month-long celebration that encourages communities across the nation to explore their own heritage and honor the endless contributions immigrants and their descendants have made to history and culture.
This June, we’re touring the nation and stopping in Los Angeles at Smorgasburg with an interactive art installation that serves as a space to celebrate stories of immigrant heritage from across the city. Together, we’ll tap into local pride and uplift the power of “we” – honoring the immigrant communities that have shaped, and continue to shape, the city we call home.
We all know someone with an immigration experience or have an immigrant heritage story of our own. Join us in sharing your story for a chance to be featured on our official channels!
